Considering a car in the Atlanta area. Can anyone recommend a place to have a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) done.

Thank you. Car has 55K miles, 1999 M3. Not sure if I should get a leak down test and compression check as well. He wants $19.5k, trying for $18.7.

The compression test will tell you all you need to know for a PPI. A leakdown test is more of a diagnostic to tell what's up when the compression test tells you there is a problem.

Give the guys at Bavarian Imports a call (404) 351-2002 - Robbie will probably answer the phone, and Mike is the head mechanic. They're both good guys, and really know the cars since they only work on BMWs.

You can tell 'em Jacob with the red Nissan sent ya(don't know if they'll remember me, since I'm more of a DIY guy, just had some tech inspections done there).

They're right off I-75 just above the I-85/I-75 split, so that makes it easy to get there.
