View Full Version : Breakfast ? SLC///M3 05-30-2005, 01:46 AM Ima eat at Ogies again VitSports6 05-30-2005, 01:52 AM Ima eat at Ogies again This place seems to be the spot, They have any idea what you guy's do after eating there? ;) chmdrm 05-30-2005, 02:43 AM I'm there. 730 breakfast. SLC///M3 05-30-2005, 09:02 AM OMG its early. I think I'm doing coffee today euro4life 05-30-2005, 09:23 AM I am leaning toward staying home with after looking outside. I don't feel like standing out in the thunder and rain today. Everybody else still going? ///Molloy 05-30-2005, 09:24 AM it looks like the apocolypse outside. you guys can AX in this? whoa.. GSBMW325is 05-30-2005, 09:26 AM I was considering not going before (wife wants to spend the day together). I think those clouds might swing the decision to no-go for sure... :( GSBMW325is 05-30-2005, 09:27 AM The only thing that will stop an AX around here is snow, severe rain/wind, lots of lightning. If it rains, they will usually hold up the event and wait it out a bit. If it keeps raining hard, they will cancel. euro4life 05-30-2005, 09:30 AM That's what I was thinking but the weather guys say it will rain the better part of the day. I wouldn't mind if it was just wet but it is coming down pretty hard at my house. The doppler thing looks like the clouds won't pass until 3-5pm. (if they even pass.) and ditto on the apocalypse statement. :eyecrazy p nut 05-30-2005, 09:33 AM It just started POURING by my house. I don't think I'm going to race. Maybe just go out there to watch later on... All that prep for nothing :( http://image.weather.com/images/maps/forecast/map_wkpln_day1_3uswc_enus_440x297.jpg 12:03 05-30-2005, 09:49 AM it looks like the apocolypse outside. true story do those chickens have large talons? VitSports6 05-30-2005, 10:26 AM Its been raining to beat hell all morning...I dont know if they would still do it or not?!? p nut 05-30-2005, 10:50 AM Its been raining to beat hell all morning...I dont know if they would still do it or not?!? I just talked to a friend of mine that went by the E Center. He said a few "hard-core" racers are out there. They were setting up cones, so it's still a go, and would only pause for a brief periods if it started raining too hard. More power to them, but until I get more experience, I'm not risking a slide into one of those light poles... euro4life 05-30-2005, 06:32 PM Well. We raced. You should be ashamed. BUT, then again... Racing's not for pussies. :D SLC///M3 05-30-2005, 06:39 PM Well. We raced. You should be ashamed. BUT, then again... Racing's not for pussies. :D :woot: chmdrm 05-30-2005, 06:57 PM Racing's not for pussies. Nuf said. atekt 05-30-2005, 08:30 PM How was it? euro4life 05-30-2005, 09:47 PM How was it? Cold and fun and slippery. I think I am beginning to understand this "slippery slope" phrase that is racing. atekt 05-30-2005, 09:57 PM damn i didnt think you guys were gonna go.I wish i would have went!I had a fun day sittin home, yay! gtiguy 05-30-2005, 10:03 PM I stayed for some fun runs and took 4 seconds off my best time ... almost as fast as chasmanbmwfan's second run of his life. :( That really was pretty crazy standing out there on course while you guys (sm) were running. Almost as crazy as driving autocross in standing water. But the afternoon was a good time. SehrSchnell 05-30-2005, 10:27 PM The Ecenter is already slippery as hell. I couldn't imagine how it was with rain. chmdrm 05-30-2005, 10:39 PM I stayed for some fun runs and took 4 seconds off my best time ... almost as fast as chasmanbmwfan's second run of his life. :( That really was pretty crazy standing out there on course while you guys (sm) were running. Almost as crazy as driving autocross in standing water. But the afternoon was a good time. When I saw the C4 line up line up from my station, I was wondering how he would do having not ever run, let alone walked the course. When I saw the times, I wondered if he had loaned his car out ... but nope ... Chas's first autocross and he rocked it. Working the morning monsoon several of us ran for our lives over and over as people lost it big. High power + Slicks = spin. The only time being underpowered and on street tires was an advantage. Makr 05-30-2005, 11:16 PM Well. We raced. You should be ashamed. BUT, then again... Racing's not for pussies. :D Is this directed at me? :rofl I was constuctive today, or productive. :help chasmanbmwfan 05-30-2005, 11:30 PM Thanks for your kind comments, however, I'm sure I benefitted substantially from the four-wheel drive. Antwerp 05-31-2005, 11:37 AM Rockin the rain! Chaz! |
