Almost a perfect day, met 2 fellow BFcer's . . . .
one in Chattanooga to pick up my new to me rims and wheels and one in Mayretta, to pick up my new to me stereo head unit . . ..both great guys
then to my buddies shop to watch and supervise him as he changed out my wheels and put in new back speakers and worked on my drivers door that we managed to mess up last week, all of it installed, fixed, working, sweeeeeeeeeeetttt
pics to follow iffin I can find the box I packed the digital in
So you might be asking yourself, self I say, sounds like a perfect day to me, so whats with the almost?
well the ticket I got going 86 in a 70 cetainly took the per out of a perfect day
Just when my driving record was gonna be clean too, oh well, it was worth it.
I asked the state patrolman how he happened to pick me out of the bunch I was in the middle of and he smiled and said
"You had the nicest car" LMAO
He was a pretty good guy, just doing his job.

"You had the nicest car" LMAO
Not LMAO.

That sounds like discrimination, unequal enforcement, profiling, bias, jealousy... I could go on for days.

They only pull over Mexicans and whip out the drug dogs, or nice cars, since they will just pay.

It's all about the money, not about safey. Not at all abot safety, not with what I see out there every day.

Speeding = $$$

Real problems are too hard to prove in court.

all in all, he was pleasant and joking around
just doing his job and if he profiled me, wha th hell, I had th top down and the interior to the gunnels full of bmw rims and wheels and he not once asked me wha that was about, which I thought strange . . .
I was speeding, bottom line . . . .

Yes, you were speeding, and, as much as I hate Virginia State Troopers, they are so professional it turns the stomach. Here is how it would have gone down in Virginia:

You: How did you happen to pick me out of that pack?
VATrooper: Sir, you were speeding. License and insurance please.
You: But a bunch of us were speeding. Why Me?
VA Trooper: The speed limit is 70. I have you clocked at 86. Stay here. I'll be right back.

I just think it's crap that they come out and tell you what you already fear. You are in a BMW and you will just pay and STFU. Damn the man. Damn them all to hell.
