Hey Guys,

Shark number 2 has just arrived home now, so I thought I'd post some pics. It's a lowish mileage, super clean, 99.5% rust free(battery tray has corrosion), 77 630csi. Sierrabeige, formerly auto shell. Southern California car most of it's life, and then it spent time in enthusiast hands in Portland. It's now completed it's northern journey to Vancouver, BC. I've got other resto projects that need to be completed before this one, but the plan will be to paint it, and then swap all the goodies from my rusty Euro 635csi into it. Top it off with a couple performance goodies, and one of our full interiors renos. Will eventually be a very nice car.

First time it met my 633 in Sumas, Washington, just before being exported from the US into Canada.

The donor car. 1980 635csi. 5 speed, Recaros, 3.46LSD, Bilsteins...etc.

me to.a simple glance at the slumbering 6 is merely a taste that turns into a hunger.the fix is not complete until she's rolling thru the gears.

Face it Al, you are hopelessly addicted. The only way out is to build one wild sleeper out of the 630. Maybe then the impulses will fade, but I doubt it. Good luck with the project. Bill :drink1

Yeah, I'm hopelessly addicted to 6ers, no doubt about it. Also hopelessly addicted to 2002's, but that's another story.

Not sure if the 630 will be the ultimate sleeper or not, but it will be my vision of an ideal shark. Schwartz, darker than cardinal red leather interior, Euro bumpers, and a set of 17" E34 M5 throwing stars, so long as I can pry them from a friend's collection. Under hood will be the 10:1 Euro engine, maybe one of Dr. Schrick's finest bump sticks, and in all likelyhood, it will all run on Megasquirt EFI. Sleeper? I guess it could be.

At least I only have two and one of them is a parts car. Good sounding project, Al. Explain the EFI. Somewhat better than the rather crude jetronic we are using? Are Dr. Schrick's sticks different for the euro motors? This is sounding really good (must keep quiet so the wife doesn't hear)!!! Bill :drink1
P.S.: I am looking for some wheels. What I want are a very conservative five spoke, 16" at most. They have to have somewhat of a dish to them. I am after a period look, none of the newer flashey looking things.

If I can get it to work, this is what I'm looking for.
