I had posted a comment (see: post #3 on: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=365366
My gear stickinig problem had nothing to do with the UUC SSK. I had the problem fixed, and it was within the transmission itself, so I apologize to Rob at UUC. His product is just what he said it was, a terrific short shifter. My car shifts awesome now!
Very nice of you to clear things up!

I said in one of my past posts that if my UUC ssk wasn't the problem, then I would retract my feelings and apologize. I was certain the the installation of my ssk was the cause of my 3rd gear sticking....I was wrong, shows how much I know :(
I use this forum as my main research tool. I'm sure others do as well, so it's not fair to UUC or people searching this forum to get misinformation.

So what was up with your Tranny?
You know in the past I'd heard negative things about Rob through the grapevine, but recently I bought a set of pullies off him which arrived quickly with no hassles at all.
I even ordered the wrong set by accident (turns out M's and 2.8's have different offsets on the power steering pumpo pulley) and he was awesome to deal with. I should be receiving the replacement pulley any day now. You have to give credit where it's due, he was completely honest and prompt with me. My goof-up on the pulleys could have been quite the headache but Rob made it easy.

My beef was never with Rob, I just thought the ssk kit was too "notchy" and thus caused it to get stuck getting out of third gear.

I'd suggest going back and editing your original post in that thread. Those doing searches may see it and not this thread. Put "Edit: My original statement has been retracted. My opinion now is insert current opinion here" at the top of your post.

Good idea! I merged the two threads together so now this thread is included (merged into) in the original thread (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=365366) in which Glenn95 made his statement, which he was mistaken about...and has now offered his apology.

PS - Glenn95, it's nice that you corrected your statement and offered an apology. Good work!
