Hi, I'm going to pick up a porter cable this weekend but don't have time to wait for pads. I need to detail this weekend. What pads do you recommend that can be found in chain shops for waxing polish swirl removal etc?

Steve530 05-26-2005, 08:55 PM I haven't found any here, but you might be able to find some where you live. Meguiar's and 3M might be available. An auto supplier locally sells a 6 in. pad made by Farecla (English I think) and their black finishing pad is the finest one I've ever used for applying polish/cleaner and glaze . I had to trim the back side of it a bit to make it fit the hook and loop pad of the PC 7336 but that took only about a minute. See if any of your auto stores sell the Farecla 6 inch black polishing foam. You'll be thrilled with the quality. -John C. |
