Thinking about getting a random orbital polisher....seems like the Porter Cable is the most popular. The Cyclo was recommended to me by a professional detailer.
Any input/recommendations would be appreciated.

Cyclo's a good tool, but remember, it uses 2 4" pads. Today, the selection for those pads is about the same as what's available for the PC, but that hasn't alwasy been the case. It's also a little more awkward to get used to; with the PC most people can buff/polish correctly within 5 in, it's intuitive.

Hey Pelos,
How much is Lowe's sale price on the polisher (Porter Cable)? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to wait.

I use and recommend the Porter Cable. It's safe for all users (with common sense).

I've seen it as low as $110 at Lowes. Normal price is $135...

Around here, Lowes has them for $99.
