I "finally" got my first ticket in my 540i. I've had the car since February and everyone who knows me is amazed it took this long.

It brings up the question: What detectors work best against the equip used by TPD, OK State Troopers, and Tulsa and Creek County Sheriffs?

My last daily driver was not fast enough to worry about such things, so I haven't had a reason to keep up with what is being used out there.

Anybody out there contribute to the FOP (Fraternal Order of Police)? Does it do any good when you get stopped?

Even in Hellrot, I have somehow managed to stay clear of the popo. And I don't run any radar but I have been thinking about getting something for road trips.... There are so many different kinds to cover now, I have no idea what is good on the market these days. Back in the good ol days all you had to worry about was X and K bands.... HA!

when I was 17 had a bright red BMW I got snached a MILLION TIMES got out of it most the time but dang can't believe that with a hellrot.

Overall -
Only been pulled over um once? in the Ti - havn't gotten any tickets BUT I have taken it easy because I am ALMOST at 3 years no tickets

as for radar keep us updated what you choose ;)

valentine 1. but it is extremely hard to avoid tickets now. i mean with lasers and that pop radar (i think that is what it is called) all the detectors tell you is that you have been caught and that you have 2 decisions: run or stop. but yea i would say get the V1. it is directional and picks up everything they have.
