Its all so relative to your experience level, your car prep, etc. Check out < http://www.emraracing.org/RESULTS/result_frame_setup.htm > They race and TT on the North course and have for a long time. Good database of laptimes there. No one in my memory haas ever run the North Course CCW. All times you find anywhere will be for CW. The CR archives should yield some base times for BMWs specifically, as Del Valley used to race on the North course. Basically,,, in a street BMW on R tires,,, you should be under 1:06. In a somewhat normal DE / prepared cars,,, 1:04 is the worst you should be seeing Get to 1:00 and under, you're doing pretty well in most BMWs. To me thats the benchmark. One minute. Some of the upper class Porsche Club Racers are down in the 0:54s. Thats flying there. Cheers jimmy p. Pocono local.... vodomagoo 05-23-2005, 02:54 AM 1:08 - 1:05's on street tires easy to get down lower on r comps, its a fun track tough to get the last couple of seconds on imo though gotta be super fast in a couple of sections that dont seem to be as fast as they are ///Mracer 05-23-2005, 11:21 AM I did a time trail up there with non-race brakes and victo's and posted several 61.xx laps. Steve J. 05-24-2005, 03:29 AM Have not had a chance to hitup an event on northcourse, but on the Long course I do low 1:31.xx while sitting at 140mph on the straights maxed out. I should be under 130 once i dial in the car a bit more for the infield with less traffic, but its mainly limited to the end straight speed since i am already exiting nascar1 at 130, and entering/exiting tunnel turn at 126.
