Something similar happened to me on the Honda. Battery kept dying, replaced it and same problem after a few days. Somehow, it's been a while, it ended up being the Positive Wire running to the battery that was the problem.
Did you install a radar detector, radio, AMP etc... recently?
Does the car start up fine after jumpstarting it?

It's likely the battery or one of the connections to the battery. I had the same problem with my car this last month, except mine would shut off while driving in stop and go traffic. Just buy a new battery, and if that's not the problem you can put the old one back in and save the new one for later.

Ok, if nothing new electrical was installed, then do the easiest thing first, check the connections to the battery and then if nothing looks out of the ordinary, get a new battery but make sure it is a decent brand.. I know funds are tight but unfortunately, this is something that needs to be fixed, no way around it. :(
Good luck and keep us posted. :)

I know exactly how you feel. Check out my recent thread on "fried alternator". Similar in alot of respects. Batteries can give up the ghost and not be able to recharge if they get drained "to the bone" frequent enough. A new battery may be the solution. Get a multimeter to see if your alternator is adequately charging your battery. Or go to autozone for a free check on this. Two separately placed Bosch alternators that were placed in my 530 were "killed " in a matter of minutes. Thought is was a wire/short issue, but all diagnostics checked out fine. Dealer placed (BMW) alternator ($$) works perfectly. Go figure? Could it be that the Bosche alt. just couldn't cut the mustard? Seems so. Check your charging system (Alternator) and if o.k., check your battery. Both at autozone are free services. Replace whatever is trashed.

What you could do is possibly get a voltmeter and have it hooked up to your battery. Then take out fuses one at a time and see which fuse causes your volts to go up (which means there is a drain) - We did this on an old 535i, found out the power antenna was grounding out and caused the battery to die within 24 hours.
Hope that helps.
