Hi:
Would someone please advise me on the best performing plugs for my 99 540? I don't mind if I have to change them once per year. My experience is that platinum, while lasting a long time, does not perform as well as copper, and that iridium is the best performing, but at $6+ per plug, may not be worth the money.
Any experiences out there?

I went from Bosch to NGK and recorded a 12 hp RWHP gain on the dyno.Just call Erick at Edge Motorworks(great people) he turned me on to the plugs.

I didn't know it was possible plugs would give you 12 rwhp. Were your existing plugs in that bad of shape before??

Thanks:
I will call Edge on Monday. NGK makes copper, platinum and iridium plugs for my car. Do you recall which material you went with?
