View Full Version : so i went hikin in altus...
JedzE36/5 05-18-2005, 08:16 PM so i went hiking in altus through the mountains on a trail that i have went on for the past 3 years. anyways im helping some of the group across a rocky ridge and everyone gets across fine. so its my turn and i take the same route as everyone else... anyways everyone stepped on that same boulder/rock so it must be pretty sturdy. NOPE. i am almost across and then the boulder dislodges itself. so i slip off and my leg falls into a crevace with like a 7 foot drop. i catch myself in time, but the rock that dislodged falls on my left leg. because of natural human tendencies, i yank my leg out without any thought. so now, because of the yank, i am missing a large chunk of skin (when they cleaned it out, they said that one part was pretty close to the muscle). i will post a picture that i took later right after it happened when the blood starting coming out :buttrock . haha luckily my leg went into shock so i tied my bandana around it pretty snug and walked my ass back to the camp site with a few of my fraternity bros.

in this pic the deep parts are full of blood so it just looks like a scrape. when we got back to the site all we had was alcohol so that crap hurt like a mofo when we cleaned (dug into) the wound.
mrdezyne 05-19-2005, 10:51 AM Oh dude, you ought to get a good scar from that one, congratulations. Chics dig scars! :buttrock
JedzE36/5 05-19-2005, 10:53 AM what is weird is whenever i get a small cut it takes forever to heal. when i redressed this cut, all the deep parts have already closed and now it looks like a minor scrape. too bad it hurts to drive :( now i cant do the PCA autocross this sunday.
