Is there any interest in having a dyno event?

We can rent the dyno for $95/hour and should be able to get 2 cars per hour if people just want to do a couple runs without tuning.

I think we could offer two dyno pulls per car for $50 each.

Reply if you are interested and I will set it up.

I had my NSX dynoed a couple of weeks ago. She made 260.8 hp and 201.8 ft/lbs at the wheels. :redspot

With 13% drivetrain loss, that is 300hp/232tq at the crank. Use 15% and we get 307 hp. and 237 tq. The NSX MR drivetrain is efficient, so 13% is probably the better # to use.

The dyno is located in Hubertus, WI. It is about ten minutes north of Menomonee Falls, off of Hwy 175.

The shop is located off Hwy 175, a little bit South of Hwy 167.

I am not certain about the price. It should be $95/hour, and I believe we can get two cars with two pulls per car per hour.

The more we can get, the better chance I can get a discount.

Yes. It was not attached for my dyno run, so there were no A/F #s to display. My buddy was getting his CTSC NSX dynoed that day and was using the wideband O2 sensor to monitor his A/F ratio.

alright question for you since i know little to nothing about NSX's.

I saw one up at Road America over the weeked, the car had normal looking doors on it, but it had flared out carbon fiber front and rear fenders. It looked crazy like a skyline GT-R or something.

I didn't get a close look at it, but it was a pretty awesome looking NSX. It had the new style headlights on it. Is that a stock car or did someone have fun with CF aftermarket parts?

You came to the right place. It is far from stock. Here is the car at Road America:

yes, I believe that is the car I saw. Quite the machine, I wish I would have had enough time to go and take a look at it.

50 for two runs is kinda high. Place around here that charges 75 for 4 runs. But i would be down

The price is only an estimate. It may be higher or it may be lower. When I get a better idea of the level of interest I will call the dyno operator.

Thats what I was thinking. There have a bunch of dyno days around here and most of them offered 3-4 runs for around $60-$80 with A/F read out also.
I think I'm going to pass if the price is still $50.
