Do you have to be a member of BMW CCA to enter a car?

[Edit-it doesn't sound like it, see post below]

If you really must know, why not call the # posted above for more information?

you don't have to be a CCA member, registration is at the door and open to any BMW. I called the number last week to inquire, because I am also not a CCA member, but intend on going to the show

I hope to see a lot of people there. I was at the first two years. If you stick around for the end and the door prizes most people walk away with something. (I got a BMW cap in 2003).

I'll bring the NSX again this year. They asked me if they wanted it judged in 2003, but I told them it wasn't clean enough. (It is rarely what I would call 'show car clean' and certainly can't compare to the condition of the cars that are shown with their perfect detail jobs from top to bottom.)

The head of the parts and service department at Brookfield Acura is usually a judge at the show. He also helps run the BMW CCA driving schools.

It was a good show with better turnout than in years past. I got to meet Dave (1990m3) and admire his very sharp M3. I think it was a contender if not winner of the people's choice award (I voted for it).

Here are a few pics from the event.

good to meet you too. I saw Jason89i's car there too, but didn't get a chance to meet him.

Thanks for the vote for peoples choice...I ended up winning! It was pretty cool, I had a good time at the show. What a nice day for it!

I must have missed meeting you, brahtw8... Probably walked right past you dozens of times... Also missed jason89i... Did meet Dave (1990m3), very nice M3 and People's Choice winner!

My car came in 2nd place in the BMW's 2000 and newer class. I also won a $25 gift certificate from International Autos as a door prize. It was a beatiful day and every car on display was a great example of the breed.

Jeff, your car looked great, really clean. You still hitting up the Pandl's tuesday nights? I've driven by two weeks in a row and it doesn't seem like any cars are ever there. Probably due to crappy weather though

Thanks Dave!

Yeah, as long as the weather is good I'll be at Pandl's on Tuesday nights with my GTO. I'd really like to see their show succeed since it's right in the neighborhood.

Last week there were about 12 cars there. A guy brought a Morgan Aero 8 up from Illinois and another guy brought his Shelby Series 1. Very cool. A few other people stopped to look wondering what was going on and said they would come tomorrow (5/24) with their collectible cars.

You should stop in, unless it is raining I'll be there from about 6:30 until about 8:30. Your M3 would be a nice addition to the show.
