On my 2000 BMW 323CI
At around 4800-5000 rpm in second gear only, there is a slight banging or vibration It doesnt vibrate at any other rpm in any other gear only second. I just bought this car and its not under warranty besides a regular used car lot lemon law so Im tryign to get this figured out b4 the 60 days is up.

I had a problem like that, ended up being the guibo.... a rubber piece between the driveshaft(if I well remenber)..anyways, check the articles @ pelicanparts.com they're useful(I replaced mines myself thanks to those articles...) saved a lot of mula....
