Here's my 323ci parked in front of Buckingham Palace! (I know, it's a horrible photoshop job! LOL!)

The bottom photo is one of my favorites. I took it at the west parking lot at Crossroads dollar cinema. That parking lot is awesome for taking car photos because it is on a slope. You park your car facing downhill and just kneel before the car and shoot... Just your car and open sky.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I hate distracting stuff in the background like signs, trees, convenience stores, other cars, people walking...You get the idea.
On the other hand, if I lived in a big city I'd love to have nice architecture in the background...Or the ocean...Or next to a volcano...or....nevermind.

Thanks, and congrats you two!

As soon as I can get home, I'll send him the file I used for my attempt at a decent sig pic.

Maybe this should be a different thread, but it's kinda related so here goes:

Is there any interest in using photoshop to play around with various graphics/paint schemes that can be put on the cars? I know I'd rather do it in Photoshop than real life until I find something I can't live without.

If you are wanting to use the graphics for decals you will want to use a vector based editor such as Illustrator. If you can give a graphics shop an illustrator file, the cleanup process on their end is much easier.

For striclty digital image manipulation, Photoshop is the weapon of choice.

Yeah, I think I do. But I just bought a set of 21 lb wheels for Auto-X so I have to wait for Tristan to buy my wheels before I could do anything. If you still have them when my money comes around I'll take them. BTW, I think the Vaders might be going to make way for some Momo's soon..... I've got the lightweight bug......

My owner had me in an E36 M3 Dinan supercharger body with more toys than you can think of. After years of owning me, he decided to sell me;however,I chose to reincarnate myself, and come back in this beautiful 330 ZHP 6 speed manual car. what do you think?

Hey Jeds, there is an article in European car magazine about a guy who transformed his E36 325 I to a GTR inspired M3. He custome fitted E46 lights, with E46 bumper. I don't know how, but it was done. It is June 2005 issue. Check it out.

or, for a one time shot, when writing your post scroll down below and find the "manage attachments" button....
Click that and it will pop up a window (unless you have a popup blocker on) and let you search your hard drive for the pic you want to post. Upload it, close the window and submit your reply.
If its the right size it should work out fine......

Whats the story behind that? Or do you wish to share.... HA!

I usually try to put 2 wheels off at least once a weekend. That's how I know I'm going fast enough. :)

It's funny, in the last 6 years of tracking the car I've never gone off track, but since I started racing I think I've gone off track at least once at every event. I blame it on cold tires. :D

JedzE36/5

the secret is out. chris actually keeps real horses under the hood. thats why he is so dang fast! he just has to feed them by putting hay in the grill.

can saturday get here already - i want my free track time!!!
30 bucks for 30 minutes... and no more??? if someone spins me out i am charging them by the second for slowing me down - at double the track rate so that is $2/minute if you spin me... :mad

Well, the Sunbelt chapter kart race is at 10:00am tomorrow, and I think it's about 3hrs of track time for $50 (depending on how many people show up). Practice, qualifying, a sprint race and a enduro.... If I'm going all the way to tulsa, I want more than one session.

I'll probably do this instead of the MOFO race. Sorry fella's.

That's what I'm thinking. I had JRP listed on my calendar but didn't realize BOTH clubs had planned an event the same day :confused
I hope Alf gets ALL the karts preped well, or at least the same :rolleyes

Same here. Not trying to pick sides, but I just can't make it up there saturday night because I go on call at 4:00. :(

Lieb, Ponyboy is (reluctantly) going with me in the Morning. Might be fun to lap him 4 or 5 times. :D

Yeah, sorry we missed you guys at the kart track but if I had seen this deal before now I would have had a hard time passing it up as well! Alf is funny about his pricing, he never remembers what he charged me the last time. I think he just wings it for each event... HA! That place has so much potential if it was just a little more organized! I've considered asking him if I could take over the karting portion since he spends most of his time now on the big oval track. I doubt he is willing to give it up though......

Hopefully they will set up the transponders soon and we can get lap times again!
