Hey, we had an SCCA race day in Tulsa this past Sunday. Tight little course but fun. Jamie ran his Z3 for the first time ever and did pretty well. Vern was there with his M, Lieberman had other obligations and was under the weather, and I....... well I took pictures and made up some excuse about a bad "vibration", BUT- I'll be running at the next event......
WHICH just so happens to be the day after our next meet. Sunday the 5th will be another SCCA day at ORU. If at all possible make plans to stay overnight and we can attend this one as a group. If you were ever curious about running your car, this would be a great opportunity. This parking lot is very smooth, no curbs, no light poles, tight short course that you can run at your own pace so you can get to know your cars characteristics better. $20 gets you registered and 4 runs.
Seriously, if a Ford Ranger can run this course, any one of us can get out there and have fun as well.
