Yes yes I did - it was amasing but we warped a crank shaft - LOOOONG STORY wasn't the cars fault - lots of power lots of fun wish I still had it

we sold it to a guy here in town who rebuilt the engine and does rally and autocross with it. - at least it went to a good home right?? :D

well I've owned an e30 325i before my e36 M3. I was just thinking about getting back into one. But I heard the e30 m3 was a teribble daily driver and even worse on mainteneance issues.

Well any car that is ~15-20 years old is gonna have it problems

I think maintenance would be the biggest issue. Repair costs are the reason Teg had to sell hers. Finding someone you trust to work on and tune an E30 M3 would be hard and expensive.

I did all the maintenince on my e30 i never got in to the engine. I did timing belt/tensioner, water pump, control arms, RSMs, brakes.

But i'm just alittle scared with the s14.

i think I'll stick with the e36
