I don't know if anyone has seen this yet...as part of the release and marketing of the new e90, they've been showing the progression of the 3 series. Ah, the 280mb one is much longer (22 min) than the one that is shown on the website. It includes segments on the '02s, E21s, E30s, E36,E46, and E90 and a segment on BMW Motorsports.

I like the segments on the 02s, E21s and teh Motorsports :buttrock . I was surprised they didn't discuss the M3's much, but it isn't necessarily aimed at enthuiasts.

One thing that did bother me is that they referred to the 02 as the 3 series, wasnt the 320i the first? Anyways, i liked it and was well made, especially when they talked about the 320i turbo :buttrock :buttrock

I enjoyed it very much. I would consider the 2002 a 3 series. just not as good as the e21 3 series. :D

That was a very well put together time-lined documentary.
