So i was giving a friend a ride in this Porsche my dad has (935DP). Im shooting down a back road by my house (tilden lane for those of you who know it). Ive seen a cop one other time on this road. I floor it, and slow down for a stop sign. At the stop sign lights flash behind me (a cop), so i pull up to the curb. The cop goes through the usuall questions, etc.... I dont have my license..... He says hes taking me in :help . I argue with him saying i live right up the street, only a few houses away, I was driving in traffic + wasnt going that fast etc..... Finally he says if i get my dad to drive out to us he wont arrest me. So finally my dad drops off the license and talks to the guy and he drops it to 12pts (reckless/agressive), suspension of license, and a juicy ticket. My dad argues with him for a while (he knows a few cops) and finally the guy drops it to 1pt (driving over the limit) + a $35 ticket for no license :redspot .

Bad news: I live in a neighborhood where half the people living there go to my school + know many parents + they know me and my car. Well when your stopped on the side of the road people look it. It was uncomfortable watching people you know drive by giving you a dirty look and all i could do was put on a dumb smile and nod. (there will be a few friends i wont drive again).

yeah ill be at auto-x (didnt register in time though so wont participate). My dad was actually very chill about it. He told me right after that there are a bunch of prick cops out there and to watch out.

edit: btw, i drove the car home and we both laughed about it later.

He makes Jewelry for one of the cops there, so he explained to the cop that he was friends with this other cop and i was a good kid, so the cop said he would talk to the other cop that my dad knows (i know the guy too), and he might drop it.

Realisticly i was only doing 60 in a 35 on a straight road (he didnt have laser/radar and couldnt see me most of the time b/c it was a hilly kinda thing).

When he walked up to your car you shoulda said "Do you know who the FUCK I am?? Don't you have any REAL criminals to arrest cockbreath??" They like it when you say shit like that!

I tried to tell my dad that but he came back with a stupid argument, as he always does. :rolleyes He said that technically the cop is paying my salary too when he pays his taxes since I am a government contractor. That shows you how dumb my dad is. Zeke, you are lucky to have such a cool dad.

My dad would have kicked my ass -- he was about as bad-ass as Kapolani is -- went through Bud's training, etc. My dad had like 2% bodyfat in his prime. He was not a force to mess with. I remember him and I fighting when I was around 14 and he THREW me through the front door -- completely ripped it off its hinges ...

Probably -- but, you could see every single muscle in his body ... he was lightning fast. Most people go for six-packs, I think he had a 12-pack. The guy was friggin' strong ...

I remember back in the mid-80's Mark Gastineu (SP) played for the Jets. He had some crazy % body fat. I think it was below 5%. Maybe the way they determine body fat now days is a bit more accurate than 20 years ago .
