...pretty much no. to be honest, besides MAYBE the Koenigsegg, I really don't see ANY car being fast to any speed (or between any speeds) as the McLaren (F1 I assume you're talking about). Even the SLR. No way. So, I have no idea what you're talking about if there's some other McLaren you're speaking of.

Maybe he was talking about 60-100 mph in top gear? With the 6 gears in the F1 and the Close Ratio tranny in the M3, that MIGHT be true. But this would be the ONLY thing I can think of that would make it correct.

...but if you are in a F1 and wanting to go from 60-100, I think you would drop down at LEAST two gears if not more to do it....just for the pure giggle factor when you drop the hammer.
