I was wondering what someone would pay for a freshly rebuilt 2.7 with a 323i head and intake manifold band new 325i cam. teflon coated pistons. headers dual magnaflow exhaust. Porsche fuel distributor and flapper. The motor has maybe 100 miles since built. Just curious. Oh and also a close ratio dog legged five speed.

Not exactly sure but some thoughts are here:

The tranny if its a 5 speed dogleg thats a tought to find item.
Thats worth some money. Between 1-2K.

Making a stroker with the 323i (200 style) head and eta 2.7 liter block is a good way to go, as is the porsche fuel distributor.

2.7 liter eta blocks can go for a few hundred.
Not sure what type of pistons, in the engine.
Porsche fuel distributors and air flappers can be had for about 400 or so.

The stock m20 325i cam is 256, and this 323i stoker engine can use a bigger cam up to about 288 with the porsche fuel distributor. I do have a shrick 288 cam I am selling. The 288 cam does not go well with motronic.

But the best m20 engine to use like I said in the other post is a 90 or so 325i style 2.5 liter. The head design is superior to the earlier eta (200) style and e21 323i head, so you have more potencial. If you dont mind transplanting the m20 later model motronic system and non orginal engine in your car, this is the one to use.
