Finally got around to ordering one :)

For $25, it's definatly a great investment. However, it's only available to us Maryland'ers :stickoutt VA & DC people dont have enough intrest in them to start production. I would have liked a better number, but oh well, nothing i can do.

Heres whats on the regional chapter site - "For information how obtain Maryland BMW CCA license plates see your copy
of the der Bayerische or send an email to mdplates@nccbmwcca.org ."
http://www.nccbmwcca.org/content/images/1_28_vlvQ6BktwI-450x.gif

Literally just email that and you'll get an immediate resonce from a program. You then take a picture of your BMWCCA membership card, print it, write your name and address, and then you send it to a guy in Towson. He then sends you an MVA form to fill out and send in with a $25 check. The whole process is very efficent and only took a little over 2 weeks.

For anyone interested - go for it.

it's definatly a great investment.

From Barron's Finance & Investment Handbook 3rd Edition:

"Investment:

Use of capital to create more money, either through income-producing vehicles or through risk-oriented ventures designed to result in capital gains. Investment can refer to a financial investment (where an investor puts money into a vehicle) or to an investment of effort and time on the part of an individual who wants to reap profits from the success of his labor."
