Even an electric one will work, I just have a pair of struts I've sold and I need to get the shocks and springs off. I'll buy whoever helps me out lunch. I'm hoping to get this done TONIGHT if possible, and the closer to Annapolis, the better. I'd really appreciate the help.

Take it to a shop? If its off the car, it'll take them 5 mins.

Yeah, I thought about that, dunno what they'd charge me though. Plus I'd need a minute to swap the spring compressors onto the other strut.

I have an air impact you can borrow. I assume it's good for what youre doing, it's an Ingersoll-Rand. You would have to come get it though since Im hopefully showing my car to someone tonight.

I had to go to 3 shops and at the third they finally quoted me a decent price. ($12, the first two were over $30) Thanks everyone.

If you didn't get this done yesterday, I have an impact gun you can use.

Even the crappiest electric impact is more than powerful enough to spin off the top nut from a strut.

I have an electric impact wrench in the sprawling metropolis of Glen Burnie. If you don't get it done, PM me.

I did get it done, thanks. If anyone's curious, Severna Park Automotive did it, and it turned out fine.
