OK, so I can't find the wheels I've been looking for no matter how I've tried so it looks like I'll have to go with my 2nd choice which is the AT Italia Flash Sports (found at tirerack.com). The wheels are offered in 17X8 where my fronts are 17X7.5 and rears 17X8.5. According to the guys at the rack I would not notice that much of a difference in handling but was hoping to get other opinions from Z3 owners. Any input would be appreciated. Hey Das, I haven't forgotten about you :12:

No man, if anything, go 17x9 out back, not thinner...

I hear ya but can't seem to find anything I like in that size. Been checking tirerack and thewheelexchange. I'll go with these if the change isn't too bad...

check www.supremepowerparts.com too, they often beat Tire Rack's prices...

Just emailed them to ask if they carry the AEZ Bimo's in my size. They are the closest they've got to what I'd be lookin' for. If they don't I might just go with the AT's. Thanks for da link!

See if rukman can hook you up, he's in NJ too... :)

SPP is great, I've had great luck with them in the past.

Have you tried Wheel Kinetics (our supporting vendor)?

You should have posted this thread in the "Wheels & Tires" forum!

rukman, you are right, I would like to keep with the 17" so I can keep my current tires. Don't have the money for both new tires and wheels. The ones you posted ARE nice too. If the price is right I could go with those. I can't find the thread that showed the rims I originally wanted. Any idea how it would be going 17X8 all around?

Sorry for not posting this in the W&T forum. Hoped it would get by in the Z3 forum because I was not sure how much traffic the W&T forum really got by Z3ers...:embarrasm

going 17x8 all around isn't going to be a huge deal....in the rear its a half inch smaller than the 8.5" setup that's probably on your car now...mounting 245/40 on a 8" wheel on the rear is fine...

my first question to you is...what is your budget for wheels?

Just heard from Eric at Supreme and he no longer offers the AEZ line. I'm hoping to keep the wheels in the $1000 range for the set. Looking at Aupreme's site for the Hartage Classics like the pic you posted, he's only got 'em in 18" and 19". Whoda thought wheels could be so difficult :95

As long as I got some confirmation that a 17X8 wheel won't make a drastic difference (thanks, your knowledge is appreciated!), me thinks I'll go with the AT Italias. 4 rim with new lugs and BMW centers $1041.48 delivered from TireRack. Kewl! Hey dasmafia, wanna talk about my stock rims???

How much do those mille miglia's weigh?

yeah, you gotta sell your wheels to das now! :D

Don't worry about where it was posted, I left the trail so Z3ers would still see it. This info might benefit more than just Z3ers though as most wheels are interchangeable model to model for BMW.

I think SSR makes Integrals for the Z3, and you can get them in 17x8's all around, or even 17x8 front and 17x9 rear, if memory serves, and they ain't that expensive and are light weight, 5 spokes, easier to clean than you stock wheels (I know cuz I have the same OEM wheels on my car too :D ).
