Where can I send my BBS rims, and have them restored or powercoated?

Any idea what this would cost?

Any reputable shop in your area, check the BBB or ask around your specific region...

I'd like to send them somewhere that has experience with BBS rims. Chances are, they would mess it up.

I emailed Aardvarc Racing, so I'll see how that goes.

When you say locally...What kind of shop would restore wheels? I dont even know where to begin to look. Also, money is tight, so if anyone has an idea what this would cost, it would be helpful.

If money is tight you might just as well hold off, Aardvarc is defenitally not cheap...

I just had Tru Wheel (http://www.truwheel.com/index.htm) fix two bent (one with a nice little rash) BBS RK (replica - okay i'm cheap) rims and paint all four for $450. They even mounted and balanced new tires for me. But you gotta ship since they're in socal.

We have 3 wheel repair shops within 30 minutes of my shop. I use an outfit called Nu-Brite Industries. 2 weeks ago, they did these ones for me:

This week, they did these guys for me:

AL.

I have those 79 staggered BBS RIMS: Marhle 15 x 6.5 front and 15 x 7 rear,
They have a ton of different paint, red, gold and silver.
I am going to have them straigtened and bead balsted first.

Then I would like to send them to you. How much to polish the outer lip and paint the centers hypersilver?

thanks
Joe

There is also a place out here in Arizona called Nu Wheel that does great work on rare wheels. www.nuwheel.com Just another option I guess.

Hey Joe,

Standard 1 piece wheel refinish is $150 per wheel. That includes blasting, polishing, and painting. Straightening is supposed to cost more, though Richard seldom charges me extra for it.
