I'm looking for a 1974 or 1975 2002 BMW doesn't have to be tii, but would be nice. Where do I start looking? I've surfed ebay and watching a couple, but if anyone knows someone that is looking to sell I'd trust more coming from this forum, than from a random guy on ebay.

I always find them in http://www.craigslist.org just looked for nashville but didn't find any. There are a lot of cities on there though -- maybe there are some close to you

If you are willing to travel for it, the best deals out there can be had on '76 2002's from California.

Due to their smog laws , '76 cars are not exempt from the full smog check (both visual and functional), so the ones that do not pass are being sold at excellent prices to out of state buyers. Might be worth a try.

Also , on the 2002FAQ For Sale board, a poster (Gordon) is doing the public service of posting info on ads on ebay and craiglist from all over the country.
