Not to try and steal aceves' thunder but I also have a 1998 Ducati 748 that is for sale as well. If you are really interested I can post some pics later. Mine has 12-13k miles on it and is in awesome shape, I am the original owner. It needs a service but I'd get it checked out and serviced at the dealer before I sold it.

I'm thinking about $5500 or so and I'd throw in the rear stand and shop manuals... It has a couple of dings, nothing major, but that is to be expected on a 7 year old bike with 15k miles.

Nice bike Dave. I still have my body cast at home to remind me of my ridin days. I'll trade it to you for your T.V when you crash :devillook . Just kidding man, I'm gonna have to come by and check that thing out.

P.S. Not kidding about the body cast though, I broke my back in 3 places, neck in 2, crushed two ribs, left wrist, left elbow, left ankle and a tooth....Just be careful.
