It's Windy! Big Time!
Our Power is out, I'm on UPS.

Time to drain the battery anyway, it's good for it.

Why won't the power ever go out when I want it to (like at my office right now), instead of when its snowing, and its cold, and I'm trying to sell my house and move (Christmas 2003)?

We moved out of the house (in Sugarhouse) the second day the power was out. I happened to be in the house when the power went back on, five days later, and the thermostat on the wall read 36 degrees.

Glad that nightmare is over.

As "adults" we just hide it better, at least from the "kids"

I AM a responsible adult, honest.

No really.

Ours was out for 5 days. We slept at our friend's house.

All my tropical fishies froze :( But once the heat was back on my goldfish started swimming around again :redspot
