argh, lets see if any of you may know whats going on. I have the aa stage 1 gen II turbo installed on my car currently and my check engine light is alwasy popping up. When I took it to my shop they said the code it was setting off was power loss to the dme, so they reset it but im still getting the message everytime im at idle. The funny thing is its only at idle most of the time, there was a few times when it stayed on for a minute when i first started my car and started driving; when im idle and give I it some gas the check engine light goes away. Anyone know what may be wrong? maybe i dont have something dme plugged in all the way?

Do you have a voltage charging meter?

If you do what does it display?

If no installed voltage meter. Put a voltage meter on your battery to determine what is it's status?

I think your battery is dieing?

Why would the battery matter, doesnt the car run off the altenator?

hmm no one had idea what might be wrong?

Do you know how to pump the gas pedal with the key in the iginition on and read the code.

If you do read it and tell us what code it come up with.

The engine check light code that says loss of power to the dme does not make sense as the car would shut off if the dmw lost power ?

can you tell me how to get the code, and ill tell u guys.
