I think a lot of us have felt this way before (overwhelmed). All I can say is, do a little bit at a time. Set aside a weekend (or even a day) and get some of the stuff attended to, and then figure out what else needs to get done AFTER you are finished for the day.
These things don't happen overnight. I've watched Attila's car progress over the years into what it is now. I can show you pics from Bimmerfest 3 years ago when he had primer on most of the body panels, no front bumper (although I personally like that look), no turbo, wheels that looked nice, but didn't look HOT. it takes time to get the car to where you want it. It might not happen this year, but the car isn't going to go anywhere, and you will REALLY enjoy the car ocne it is 'done'.

Well said!! If you have room for the car and its not a daily driver, take your time and build it slowly.

its hard for me as well, but mainly since mine is a daily driver. I have to wait when i have weekends that I dont need to drive for to work on it. But just stick with it, I have def. had those feelings about it before as well.

I have felt this way many of times. I just wanted to sell my car and pickup a new project. Just give it some time. Install the euro bumpers or take another spin in the e21 and youll get hooked again in a second. Like uberpanzer said just take your time and do what you can when you can. Hope you end up keeping it.

So dont sell it then.
With that said any car build takes some time, money, blood, sweat, and stress, shit man this goes for anything, go drink a beer and punch something, then go tell your car you love her :redspot

Been there....felt that too. BUT! I had to remind myself why I started in the first place. And we ALL know what the answer to that question is or we wouldn't be here. And I think that nothing that is worth having is worth giving up on. When it's nearly completed you are going to be sooo proud of what you started with and what YOU made it become that the rewards are just awesome. Even when it's done you're going to find yourself tinkering here...tinkering there...little mods and upgrades that you do to please YOU not anyone else. Not to be harsh Bro but you give on her and I tell you the truth you'll wish somewhere down the road that ya hadn't. There's not too many things that we beat ourselves up more with than regret. So hang in there buddy! WE'RE here for ya man.....24/7!!!!
Ubersaid it best, do a little at a time! It's a big project so we have to keep it in small stages of progress otherwise ya just get too overwhelmed with the whole big picture.
Now go out there, get a wrench and git yer hands dirty!!! :alright
OK, yeah well..get a plan first.....failure to plan....is planning to fail!! Dunno who said that but it works for me...
Hope this helps and Good Luck!! :redspot
