I have about 71K miles on my 96 M3. It was driven easy by a woman until i got it at 68K miles. My guess is that forced induction is too expensive for a car that wont last long after the install. But Im just guessing, any one know anything about this?

I installed mine at 61000 miles, I currently have 86000 miles and drive it to its limit every time I drive. I know of another guy who installed an RMS stage two with 10 psi at 82000 miles and has now increased his boost to 12 psi for the last 10000 miles. He currently has 144000 miles and still runs 8.2 @ 87 mph (1/8 mile) and 12.7 @ 110 mph (1/4 mile). This is all on stock compression.

it can take it!!I have 62,000 miles now and the SC went on about 2000 miles ago. I dont drive my car too often anymore but when I do I enjoy the power. No problems at all yet... and Im not even running any water injection yet.

I installed mine at 82k miles and have mainly tracked it since. I'm at 98k miles now and see redline regularly. With proper maintenance and non abuse these engines are almost bullet proof.

Unknown, bought it that way. But I gathered from the previous owner that it's been on a little while, but likely in the high 5-digit miles, given that it's a Powerdyne unit and Dinan sells Vortech kits now.
