Has anyone with a AA turbo had problems passing emissions?

Depends where you live, and their rules. In California it does not even pass the visual inspection.

Passes tests except visual. Maybe Jon Caldito who has experience and has an AA turbo can comment on this, I am almost positive his passed.

jon's passed CA smog, but Im not sure how he managed to pass the visual. hmm...$$$$$$$$$$$$ :stickoutt

Anyone in VA pass it? I'll see if I can find my last test results, and hopefully someone can read it...|??

Do I just stick my cat back on and the car will pass smog?

what does passing visual entail?

If you have your catalytic converters on an AA Turbo setup, you should pass the sniff test.

I just found out that there are some SMOG guys that are pretty dumb and dont even know what CARB means.

They wont be able to see the turbo but might give you issues about a K&N Intake setup.

The visual inspection is too see if there are any aftermarket parts installed like headers, CAI, etc.

the cams will affect emissions the most. if you have stock cams I don't see why you can't pass. unless you removed the cats or the tune is off.

the visual? that's a different story.

Just get a Mechtech sticker. They seem to pass those out like fliers. Put a dummy HFM between the intercooler and the TB have some wires dangling from it.

Then you should be good to go.
