What kind of performance mufflers sound and look nice on a '76 2002? Something with a sweet racing tone, not loud, but nice.

I ended up having a mandrel bent ehaust built with the pre-fabed u bends. I used a 2.25" straight thru muffler and a 2.25" resonator thats I belive 24" long. I'm also running a tii exhaust manifold.

Not buzzy. Just a nice deep tone. No resonance in the interior like I was getting with the Anza I had years ago.

I use the kit from Ireland -- headers + his stainless. We had to bend our own pipe & make our own hangers though. It was a late night hack but it seem to be pretty good. No major fart sounds, although i'm getting some resonance at 4k, but I think another hanger will cure that + also want to weld a guard on the bottom of the headers for when i'm off roading.

Haven't had the time to get it on the rack. SOON!
