Sadly I've always been this way. I have as much into my 3 now in mods as I paid for it. I could have bought a new M3 as I add it all up, but it is nice to have 4 doors at least. I know I could not have left that stock anyway.
You don't want to know how much I have into the DSM and it is still not done.
I could have bought another BMW with what I've paid to the Snap On guy alone. But I have every tool ever made and a NASCAR crash cart to move them in. Just in case.
euro4life 04-29-2005, 04:59 PM You can NEVER have too many tools.
Makr
chmdrm 04-29-2005, 05:05 PM Much like a house payment, I expect to pay the Snap On guy every month for the rest of time.

The wife is starting to buy it. " Honey these modifications will only make the car safer to drive. So when we have little Brookey in the back and we have to, lets say avoid an accident, we can safely."
chmdrm 04-29-2005, 05:21 PM See ... you are doing it for the family. It is all about safety.
Antwerp 04-29-2005, 06:00 PM  Good Mod Scott! ..and Expensive... I'd have to get to that someday... :(

Tonus 04-29-2005, 11:02 PM Ant I think you are getting Scott's M confused with my beautiful convert. :wave :icon15
I can see how that would happen, since they are both white!!! :rolleyes
SehrSchnell 04-30-2005, 12:13 AM Ant is the official dA operative in the air traffic control tower.

This credential should qualify one for special dA status: like "Member for Life" or something like that.

yeah, he gets 150 dA points for out pacing the value of his car with the value of aftermarket parts.
chmdrm 04-30-2005, 12:46 PM yeah, he gets 150 dA points for out pacing the value of his car with the value of aftermarket parts.
Sometimes I wonder if this is a good thing.
But then I drive it and know that it is.

chmdrm 04-30-2005, 01:11 PM I keep looking and looking ... and I can't seem to see a car in that shot.

Geoff, you just need 15 more dA points and 5 labour points before you qualify for the dA platinum deck lid badge.
:lol
Antwerp 04-30-2005, 04:06 PM How fast is that GTI thinger? Is it used for autocrossing or something?

Cool.
I just took the Dinan one off. Tired of explaining to people that all I have left from Dinan is tranny software, engine covers, and floor mats. Someone spent the money to earn 10 points, but it was not I.
I have a new badge now that goes more with what is on, and about to be on the car.
Antwerp 05-02-2005, 11:44 AM ...and it looks real good too...
