I saw a 2002 in the junk yard. I am going to see how much for it. I didn't really inspect it closely but I work right next to that place so I will check it out tomorrow. This is probably going to turn into a project car. The color is a yellow. I just love the looks of the 2002.

What kind of engines are the run of the mill swaps? M20's?

S14's= expensive
M42= quick NA machine
M44= Downing Atlanta superchargable! My favorite, and you can even leave the motor stock and get around 200-210 flywheel hp... faster than an e36 M3 in a 2002... sounds good to me!!

You must be crazy.

M44s and M42s in 2002s are bad ideas. I don't think anyone's ever put a DASC on one in a 2002, either.

S14 and M20 are the serious options for swaps.

which performance engines make the tail scratch the ground, during shift? I saw a 2002, and as he changes through the gears, that car's rear is lower than the front. I know he doesn't have a turbo. His shocks are good.
