Did anyone else see the story on the Larry Miller Motorsport track last night? They showed Larry Miller personally breaking ground on the new track. I didn't hear any new news but it is nice to know they have started on it. And it was funny to see the "Nascar in Utah" story line on the TV while they showed the story.

That was better than the 6PM news where they led with "Miller Motorcross" as a headline.

Larry said that NASCAR had agreed to take a look at the track after completion. He hopes they will add a third road course to the Nextel Cup (or whatever it's called).
They also showed clips of rally racing during the news story. :confused

that's cool. I missed him talking about that. Nascar needs more road racing. I would go out and watch some rednecks rally the local track for sure.

Don't expect much from NASCAR lots of tracks around the US have asked for a 3rd road race spot w/o any success. I doubt we will see one anytime soon, even at more famous or geographically-better tracks.

As long as we get SCCA Speed World Challenge I'll be happy. And maybe the ALMS.

Right. First round of the SCCA SPEED Touring Car Championship saw BMW in 6 of the top ten spots.
Fastest Audi was 26th.
Oh ... but it seems Turner will not run the full season and are going Grand AM racing.

Did Mr. Miller break down while breaking ground? (he seems to cry a lot). Least he didnt break wind.

Been some time since that happened. Last few seasons the Turner BMWs have been so strong that they keep adding so much weight to them that they have turned into bricks.
After they still kept winning this season it seems they've give my power to the Mazda and Acura's and Turner has giving up and will only do a partial season.
