JT-Designs Rear Shock Mounts for E36 and E46 3-Series.

MSRP is $99.95 plus shipping.
MPerformance standard retail is $100 Shipped.
Group buy Special is $85 and free ground shipping.

Constructed with aircraft grade aluminum, the base is CNC Milled and the shuttle is CNC Turned and Milled to precise tolerances. The shuttle is designed to be removed from the top (inside the baggage compartment) with use of a 36 MM 12 point common socket (not included). This will eliminate the need for two people and shock removal to replace the bushings. JTD expects that bushing replacement will take a total of 15-20 minutes. Sold 2 per set, the kit also comes complete with 4 new nylock nuts, 4 washers, and 2 body gaskets...this will save a trip to the dealer!

Note: When any BMW necessitates the replacement of its rear shock mounts, JT-Designs highly recommends simultaneously installing BMW factory reinforcement plates (Part #51-71-8-413-359).

To order please Click Here (http://www.mperformance.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=561)

Use discount code MPJTD15 to get the discount.

This is a highly recommended modification when going with aftermarket shocks/springs or coilovers!

GB ends on May 13th or when all Rear Shock Mounts are sold! (11 kits in stock by Friday the 29th)

NOTE: Please do no put any dashes or spaces when entering the credit card number. After the order is approved you will get a blank site on next order page. This means your order is complete. If you pay using Paypal you must have an approved shipping address.

i wish this would have been posted yesterday, I just pulled the trigger on some of the "repair shop" RSMs that TMS and bimmerworld sell.

so with the JTD ones they recommend you use the z3 reinforcement plates? (note, I see the little text saying that, but I've never heard that was needed with the more expensive RSMs)

Neato!
Just bought one set.
Thanks.

Edit: When I went to pay it linked me to another webpay site, well I filled out my info and pressed 'submit', it showed me like an invoice and had a button 'continue', I pressed it and it linked to a invalid page(page could not be found), the URL of the page the 'continue' button linked to is 'http:///'.
Anyways let me know if my payment went through.

Yes it is recommended. If you have a rear shock tower bar the reinforcement plates are not necessary.

Just placed an order.

I'm thinking of going with Sways in the future, should I still go with the reinforcement plates, and if so where's the best place to buy them.

Can't wait to get the Koni's and Eibachs installed.

Turners is the best place to go get the swaybar reinforcement plates.

I mean't the Z3 plates, why do we need them? I have new Koni's and Eibach pro kit, RTABs and now the RSM's to have installed....

The car only has 30,500 Miles on it

the z3 plates serve to further reinforcement the sheet metal mount area from tearing out.

http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp has them for $15 a piece

Why don't other companies like GC recommend the reinforcement plates?

BMWguy206
05-04-2005, 03:27 PM
JTD does indeed recommend the Z3 reinforcement plates. The only time you dont need the plates is if you're going to install a rear shock tower bar.

With the GC RSM its not possible to install a rear shock tower bar.
