I just got my 1995 BMW M3/2 5spd and i'm wanting to install an alarm system in it, but I don't want to have to pay that extra 100ish dollars to have best buy install it or anything... So if anyone could help me install it, or just have directions to install it that would be very helpful. I have read a lot about the whole process on the forums but I don't know if I can pull it off, i'm sure I can, but I just don't want to have a lot of down ti me. I'm thinking about ordered an Alpine SEC-150R, from what I heard it has 3 EXT relays, Keyless entry, and proximity sensors. Does anyone personally have experience with this type of alarm, if so how hard was the installation? Thanks

I did custom car stereo and alarms for 12 years. I am not trying to brag, but I am really good. I will be happy to help, however, I DO charge for alarms and audio/video. You get what you pay for...keep that in mind.

I just took out my aftermarket car alarm because it was installed so poorly. The guy who owned it before me had it installed at Bestbuy and I can post pics of the f-ing rats nest they created. Anyways...get it done right. There is nothing worse than jacked up wiring. I could not sleep untill I cut out every reminant of that alarm.

Sure, just let me know. Needless to say that I am pretty well experienced with the Bimmers! :redspot

I have a pretty decent setup at the house, and full access to an audio shop and thier tools in south Arlington. :buttrock

Not to steal the thread or anything but you DFW guys should check out www.strictlyea.com we are based in San Antonio but we have members all over Texas and will be starting a Houston chapter. We have a couple guys on there in DFW that wanted to go to meets so if you all could meet up there that would be cool :buttrock . Plus it is a good place to share info on all types of BMW's and other euro cars. Hope to see you there :D

Bringing this thread back...would need instructions how to make added sensors and pager arm-disarm at the same time the factory alarm is rmed-disarmed. This is E36 alarm for 96 and after E36 cars. The alarm has 12 pin plug and 2 of them are door lock, door unlock. can something be done so the added sensors and pager will be armed disarmed with alarm remote.
