Hey guys just wondering if anyone had gone to a shop to install an x-brace or underdrive pullies. I know I can probably easily do it myself but REALLY don't ever have the time. I've been sitting on these parts for months and want to get them in before sun. auto-x. How much and where, if anyone has. Would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thank you.
I live in Pico Rivera (between Whittier and Montebello) - looking for a knowledgeable shop in L.A. / O.C. area...just emailed Avus Autosport in Glendale but I'm sure it will be an arm and a leg when they reply.

Yeah that's the whole problem. I know I'm going to have to do the whole drilling and what not for the inserts as the DIY shows. Then follow most of the instructions which are good but a bit vague. They don't just screw in like the later models. :(

Installing a X-brace on an older E36 is a bitch and a half.
Drilling and making insert tools and using the tool to put the inserts in is a pain in the ass.
It took me a couple hours with some help on my old 325is daily driver, but boy was it worth it.

THAT'S EXACTLY what I don't have the time for my friend and was hoping to take it to a shop that's done it a million times and can take care of the bitch and a half, lol. I know its worth it but usually never have a free weekend and of course work 40+hrs a week. Well see I have tentatively scheduled an attempt tommorrow if I get a chance to prepare tools and a plan. Wait...its supposed to rain tommorrow, damn. :(
