hal9000 05-02-2005, 09:23 AM Just out of curiosity, since I'm toying with going twin screw....how much HP will those clutches hold? Is there something that will hold 400-500hp?

Power capacity is not a straightforward answer, your intended use of the car has an impact on clutch choice. In all reality, it's not even HP that is the power factor - it's torque.
For a street-driven car with an owner that will not be abusing the clutch (no excessive slippage), the OE M5 clutch or Sachs Power Clutch will comfortably handle over 450lb-ft for a very long time. If you do plan on doing some drag racing, the upgrade to the UUC Stage1 performance organic clutch is a better choice. Greater torque capacity, heat capacity, and better able to deal with the rigors of this kind of use. If you plan on doing a lot of drag racing (weekly, several runs, etc.) then choose the UUC Stage3 multi-puck ceramic/metallic clutch. This clutch will handle any power level you can build into a street-driveable E36.

Thewiz666 07-29-2005, 03:05 AM What became of this? Any progress?
bimmer95 07-31-2005, 01:10 AM Considering they're still, to this day, selling faster than they can be made, there's no sense to have a group buy on these. If they were collecting dust, that would make sense. I've been sold out for the last few weeks, but I'll have more in stock on Monday. As always, free shipping on them.
Shudogg 07-31-2005, 12:57 PM ya im interested too, i need to know if i can get that to fit my car...96 318

Yes, it does fit. UUC has just been too busy (or lazy.. eh Rob!) to fix the list of fitments on their site.
Myronwong 08-01-2005, 12:28 AM Im interested, with the clutch but im not shure what clutch to get if i do street races sometimes not alot but i do drive my car alot in the city. i drive somewhat hard u can say. what would be my best choice a stage 1? if so how much will this group buy bring it down to?
bimmer95 08-01-2005, 12:35 AM The UUC Stage 1 clutch is a good choice for a normal street car with the occasional drag race style launches, it would hold up for you very well. The flywheel/clutch combo is $1099 shipped, I'll have one set in stock on Tuesday.
bimmer95 10-31-2005, 01:35 PM I have UUC Stage 2 flywheels, Sachs OEM clutch kits and Sachs Power Clutch kits in stock now. This week only, I'll throw in a free TME set with any in stock flywheel/clutch package. Let me know if you want red or black TMEs in the checkout notes :)
