Phase I is on Wednesday, May 18

Phase II is on Thursday, May 19

Drivers Challenge is also on Thursday, May 19.

Phase I is prerequisite for Phase II (duh) and the Drivers Challenge.

Phase II is recommended for the Drivers Challenge but not mandatory.

The amount of students is limited and the price is set to $220 per each event.

With 2 national level instructors that are constantly changing cars, you could say you almost have a personal instructor the whole day. Try to beat that for $220. :buttrock

Jebus. Why is this stuff always in Wendover... :madFor once, Wendover is probably the best site that we have in Utah (grip and space). Also, the instructors are coming for the ProSolo that weekend in Wendover (why do you think you get such a great rate with a low student-to-instructor ratio?).

My wife is headed for Israel on the 19th so I think I will drive home to spend the night the 18th. It's too bad to because I just got a flyer from the Golden Nugget for $48 rooms Sun-Thur. That is less that it will cost me in gas. Of course my bar bill would probably be another $100.

We did grab up almost 1/2 of it.

You guys staying a night? I am planning on driving out and back the same day.

I'm going up and back the same day.

Hope my boss is ok with my using it as a "training day" (in all reality, I probably could articulate it real easy).

If one of us should ever do anything bad, you will need to catch us, so it very much is work realated.

On that note work needs to buy you suspension too so that you stand a better chance of rounding us up should a crime wave start. I could go off at any moment.

We are now working on getting a second Phase I school. May be Johnny can call it a training day and invite some of his students.

Call it: 'In case the car in front of you has a dA sticker you may need this additional training.' :lol




















This only applies to an officially sanctioned autocross event on a parking lot of course.

Are you thinking of something later in the year? You going to maybe do a second Phase II as well?

I'd liked to do both, but 2 days off work in the same week + giving time to settle into what I learned in Phase I stopped it this time.

By the way Uli, we are having a little social Saturday at meine vonne. Mit bratwurst, brot, hamburgers, und beir. You are invited kind sir. (see other thread regarding "party")

The plan is to have two phase I schools in parallel on Wednesday. But Evolution school still needs to confirm that they have the equipment and instructors available that day to facilitate this request.

So, this will be your only opportunity in 2005, in Utah to participate in an Evo school. But I'm very confident that we will have another Evo school next year.

Also, on June 11 there will be another school with local instructors. This will be another good opportunity for you to work on your skills in a training environment.

All this knowledge will keep you busy for the rest of the year applying it in a racing situation. :stickoutt Practice, practice, practice and then some more seat time. ;)
