This looks kinda fun. Is this a course suitable for beginners? Do they provide a car?

I did phase I & II last year, all on the same day. This year you will have a breather and two days to enjoy the fun.

The Drivers Challenge is geared towards more experienced drivers.

I hope that helps. Uli

Do Chas!

Best chance you will get to learn how to drive the P car better.

I rode with Rod (forgot last name) in his 87 911 in Wendover last weekend. Rod was running about 20% faster than me with 80 fewer horspower and shift linkage that is quite possibly the worst ever put in a sports car. The next round he rode with me and then gave me some "suggestions". The run after the discussion I took about 5 seconds (10%) off my time. I'm excited about learning from the pros. :alright

I had Uli ride along at the E center event and just having someone more experienced yell instructions at me while I'm driving made a big difference, I took 5 seconds off my next run.

I'm totally looking forward to the EVO thing now. If Chas comes (as Louis is already signed up) that means the the P cars would out number the Bimmers from this group however.

So who else is coming?

Are you doing I and II Geoff? I signed up for both, paid for both, but the website only shows me registered for I.

I'm just going to do Phase 1. I was thinking about doing both but I'm a slow learner so figure I'll just do 1 and let that sink in. Bet if I did both my brain would explode from information overload.

That and I won't have to take 2 days off "work" and won't need a hotel.

Hmmmm. Two days after the Phase I event I leave with my wife for a week-long trip for our 20th wedding anniversary. Whatever shall I do?
Sometimes having a job can throw a wrench in the gears.
