Call or email Chris. I know that he would not want you to use a used part. It sounds like someone who is not so honest bought an O2 sensor and decided to "return" it, only they returned their old part. I had this happen to me more than a few times when I was selling parts, sometimes you catch it and sometimes you just stick the box back on the shelf and send it out again, only to be really embarassed when the end user (you in this case) opens the box.

Your thread was moved to this forum because it belongs here. If Kevin didn't move it one of the other Moderators or I would have moved it.

I have not had any trouble with zygmunt. I have been ordering from them for a couple of years now. I only wish I got compensated (free or reduced prices) for the many plugs I have given them. But thats fine. They have a good reputation in my book.

This same thing happened to me with a aluminum thermostat cover. Once I called him, he sent me a new one; no questions asked.

Zygmunt is a very reputable and good company. Of course sometimes they make a mistake but they'll fix it for you. one time I was sent PBR deluxe instead of Metalmasters and chris worked it out for me, nice guy.

Zygmunt is basically one guy doing everything. I live 5min walk away so I try and by my parts there. They have bottom line pricing and keep the overhead low. I don't believe they, meaning Chris, would knowing try and shaft a customer. But the sheer volume of customer traffic leaves them little time to physically QC each part.

I just got my Power Discs (rotors) from them with PBR pads, everything looks good. Can't wait till saturday, untill I put those on.

My current rotors are still stock (meaning from '95- so, as I found out, they're almost as thin as paper :( )
