I'm looking for a cheaper tire than my previous $200+ that handles real well in dry and great in wet but has better tread life than the <6K miles I was getting on my Potenza S-03 rears. I mean dropping more than 400 on wheels every summer and 800 every 2.5-3 summers is annoying. I am using 235/40R18 on all 4 BBS RCs 18x8.5" and only drive it in the summer. Any suggestions?

I bought ASX's for my E36 M3 about 4,000 miles ago. The rears still look almost new, the fronts absolutely new. They are great in the rain, work very well in the dry (hot and cold) and I couldn't be happier considering the price. The all weather tread pattern isn't as "cool" looking as I would like, but I rate them 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. I've never had them on the track and don't drive like I'm at the track when on the street.
