I did some searching and couldnt find how to positively identify that a set of LTW wheels are actual BMW OEM wheels rather than replicas. I know they should be fairly light, but so are a lot of replicas. They also have the little ///M badge near the lugs, but so do a lot of replicas. Are there part numbers, stamps, engravings, anything to verify a set as OEM for sure? Thanks ahead of time!

Do you have a pic of the wheels in question, or is this theoretical?

I don't have pics of the wheels. They are a local guy's. He's gonna dig em outta his garage soon and I just wanna be able to make sure they're for real before I dish out the cash.

They should be stamped with 'BMW' and part number on the back side. If you really need to know, I can snap a picture of mine later today.
