Anyone got a list of the shift points (IE. max speed in gears) for a '99 540i Sport? Thanks!

It depends on the differential. It might just be easier to try it out, though. Of course, I wouldn't reccomend trying to push the rev-limiter, but hey, it's your car. In my '99 540i/6 sport, when power driving, I try to shift at 5k or so, since after that point, the torque starts to decline. For normal driving, I try to stay around 2k, for gas purposes. At 3k, I know the shift points are like 20 for first, 30 for 2nd, 45 for third, 50 for 4th, 65 for 5th and 6th is just for cruising.

Yep. With the M62/TU, the car has a fairly flat torque curve from about 3.5k-5.5k RPMs, hence my usual power shift points.
