Too bad I don't have the Speed Channel, cause they're re-running the Isle of Man TT. Fast motorcycles averaging psychotic speeds on a 37 mile loop of the island. The 125cc winning time was something like 1 hour, 20 minutes, four laps -- 150 miles, average speed right around 111 mph...

Mental race isn't it. I watched a programme about it and it looked amazing. I saw some on-board footage of a bike doing 170mph and still accelerating. Only prob with those speeds is when they come off it is serious.

I agree it is one of the most amazing races to watch. Really not much room for error. I especially like the part when the bikes get air.

That is the only motorcycle racing I make an effort to watch. Alot like tarmac rallying, but more insane. Especially where the bike almost comes off the ground while in a turn. Made my heart skip a couple of times in the past years. It's too bad how many riders have died there though.
