I had to work the graveyard shift and ended up sleeping all day.

Was there many problems with the cops? I heard something about a CHP crackdown. I hope everyone had a safe trip to and from the event. :)

We didn't have much trouble with cops on the way up or back down to SD. Not sure about the rally though since we skipped out on that.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm using a Canon Powershot Pro1. It's not an SLR so I'm stuck with whatever lens it comes with. The ISO speed on all of them are at ISO50 and shutter speed varies. I shoot most of my pictures during the day on Av mode at F4.0 aperture. I let the camera decide the shutter speed. F4.0 on my camera seems to be the sweet spot for clarity.

It looks like your white balance is a little off. It appears to have too much blue. You might be able to correct it using Photoshop's warming filter/color balance. In the future make sure you either white balance the camera or shoot RAW so it can be corrected later on. Other than the color, you've got some nice shots :)

I was seriously suprised. There was a cop sitting out by the YMCA, after mr. prick said customer parking only, and there were no customers there but us. :nono So we motor over to the Circuit city parking lot and the cop didnt even come over to bother us! Then there were Bimmers parked in red zones, one White E46 parked in the bus stop, and none got tickets. :buttrock

Awesome event....My first b.f. and wow I have been missing out. The road rally was incredible :buttrock :buttrock worth the whole trip. I do have to say it seemed the cops/chp were pretty cool. It seemed like we really weren't hassled at all...i did catch that chp camaro :confused too. I'll post some pics (think i got one of the bimmer that got pulled over on the rally) I ended up with a lot of video and about 300 pics. Can't wait till next year!!

The blowup doll came from a gag shop. The lightbar was sourced on ebay but bought locally as you cannot sell full police lightbars on ebay. The sellers are supposed to pull the light covers.

The lights worked for about 30 seconds before the damn fuse blew.

How do I outdo myself next year?

after reviewing all the pics id have to say that they new 5 series is still ugly. I was hoping that the style would "grow" on me but is hasnt, ewwwwww. but the new 6 series is tits for some reason reminds me a 996?:stickoutt

NOT AT ALL.. i told her to go on it as a demonstration and testimate to the quality of the hood. we've had other models on the hood before. There is a reason why the prince of bahrain (sp?) purchased one of these hoods for his 900+hp sc'd M5.

That's pretty funny. I buffed the hood on the prince's car right before it got shipped back to bahrain (sp). DA Motorsport/Area 51 is the sh!t!!!

yea.. bill's got a pretty nice setup there. that would be my dream to work on high profile cars for a living.

Your car was GORGEOUS as well. Both of you guys have amazing rides, but the paint on your M5 + the polished T-stars left me drooling.
