I am looking for a E36 car that is at least prepared for serious track days (roll cage) or possible a full race car. I have a trailer and tow vehicle, so it will not be driven to the track.
I am in the process of getting information on the cars that are on the BMW CCA site, so if any of you have other sources to look, or have a car that you are considering selling, please le me know.
Thanks,
CP Louie

I had Eurospeed Performance here in Cary, NC build me a kick ass track car. I had done this before out of a 1995 M3, but after all is said and done, using a high mileage car ends up costing more than doing it the way we did it. I now have a 1994 325i sedan chassis/body but with a low mileage 1997 M3 powertrain. Since the car was already taken apart, it was easy to do the subframe reinforcements, oil pump nut, brakes, suspension, and just about everything else you'd want to do anyway, saving tons in labor.
I posted a ton of details and a history here, if you are interested in reading about it. I have had other people ride in and drive my car and everyone remarks that it is the best balanced, quickest, most fun E36 they have ever been in (well, I'm sure this is for street legal cars that are not all out race cars and that don't cost $50K or more to build - mine can be done for around $20K out the door).
